amazing halloween

very different from Boston to NYC-
alike foto above I exspected Halloween to be-Pumpkins everywhere and kids asking for sweets-
but it is much bigger - in Boston every single house was decorated like the foto below
and in New York it was crazy--millions of disguised people everywhere in subways, bars,on the street-many streets in Greenwhich were closed-and a big parade took place on 6th avenue from Christopher street to 23 th street-hours before the parade started it was impossible to get a place at first row to watch-streets were crowded - no coming through
I got a place at 3 row and waited for lamost 2 hours the parade to begin-funny talkings with other spectators and good mood
finally began the parade with people disguised so full of fantasie I never saw before
included naked boys and girls with body painting as costume!
and then I discovered my son in the middle of the parade at 6th avenue playing the drums with the hungry march band from Brooklyn he practised on sunday-he is one of the white people in the background of the foto-could not get him better

people watching the parade had costumes as creative as the participants-my favourite was the Krümelmonster von der Sesamstrasse
by the way:I was disguised being Fan of St.Pauli Hamburg

Stephan enjoyed very much being part of the event-I liked to stroll around the streets watching people
